특강 연사 소개:
Won Kyung Cho went to New York City in March 1960, after teaching 6 years at Yonsei University, Ewha Womans University, and College of Music, Seoul National University.
He studied at Martha Graham School of Comtemporary Dance, Dance Department, Juilliard School of Music, and Lee Strasberg Acting School. He extensively toured North America with his solo dance recitals, dramatic recitals, and poem recitals then he expanded his stages to Europe, South America and Asia. For past 40 years he gave 9000 formal recitals in 54 countries in 5 continents. His collection of Korean art has been exhibited in North American and in Western Europe since 1968. He has also added ‘19C Korean Costume Recitals’ with live models since 1990.
At present he is giving lectures at Yonsei University, Ewha Womans University, Graduate School at Dongguk University, as well as at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul. His lectures have been on ‘Korean Aesthetics’, ‘Korean Furniture’, ‘Korean Cinema Art’, ‘Comparitive Study of Far Eastern Dramas’, ‘Comparitive Study of Korean Shijo Poems & Japanese Haiku Poems’, and ‘Dance Theory’.
